Auto tracking increases surveillance and investigation efficiency

The new version of ACTi’s powerful video management software, NVR 3.0.12, brings support for multiple types of auto tracking. This new feature increases the operator’s efficiency during live surveillance and speeds up investigation of incidents.

Digital Auto Tracking (DAT) – Use a single camera to track up to 4 moving objects in a scene while keeping a complete overview image. ACTi smart Hemispheric Domes such as B511, B59, B76 or B74 automatically detect moving persons or vehicles, and can digitally zoom and track them. The cameras discard information in parts of scene with no activity to bring operator’s focus to moving objects. The complete panoramic overview may be streamed simultaneously and independently on the tracked objects. DAT reduces total bandwidth consumption and allows users to export specific channels of interest for future evidence.

PTZ Auto Tracking – ACTi Speed Domes equipped with PTZ Auto Tracking technology such as I97 or I98 are able to automatically follow persons and vehicles in the monitored area. The image of the moving object is always clear, no matter how far or in which direction from the camera. The operator can effortlessly manage more cameras at the same time as he doesn’t need to manually control the PTZ.

Overview, Zoom and Tracking (OZT) – This feature utilizes the strengths of Hemispheric Domes and Speed Dome cameras to allow focused tracking on a target while maintaining a wide panoramic view. To make sure that all incidents are recorded, the hemispheric camera always delivers an overview image covering a large area. The on-board smart, object-based motion detection simultaneously finds people or vehicles moving in the scene and commands the connected Speed Dome to zoom in and track these objects to allow a more focused view on the person/vehicle of interest.

Compact NVRs with built-in PoE switch for even simpler installation

ACTi introduces Mini Standalone NVRs that greatly simplify the installation procedure. These recorders can power cameras, encoders and other PoE-ready network devices without the need of a PoE switch or injector. The compatibility with ACTi products is certified. Moreover, the integrated DHCP server automatically handles the network configuration so connecting cameras is as easy as plug-and-play.

The ENR-010P and ENR-020P display and record up to 4 and 9 video channels, respectively. Both devices contain 1 bay that can accommodate a 3.5” HDD with maximum capacity of 6TB. The 1080p image on a connected monitor is sharp thanks to the digital HDMI video interface. At the same time, the NVRs can be accessed remotely to watch live video or review recorded footage from a PC or mobile device. The video evidence can be easily exported and archived via USB connector.

The recorders can detect various events such as motion or digital input activation, and respond by recording video, sending an email notification with attached snapshots, setting off an alarm via digital output and more.
